That Word… Sustainability

Sustainability.  What does this mean in the fashion industry?

It seems like it is the latest buzz word and overuse of this word is understandably resulting in some consumer scepticism.

Consumers are certainly more environmentally aware and as Planet Earth is important to everyone  let’s talk about  being Planet Responsible !

So how do you know if a business is genuinely making positive changes?

Well we think it will be very  helpful to provide clear information on what a business is doing to be more responsible.

This can be clarification on use of  organic product , or recycled product and packaging . It can extend  to reduced usage of energy and water within the manufacturing process.

The elimination of harmful chemicals  and  of course the method of  transportation.

The more communication the better !
