Spring into a Jumpsuit!

Spring into a Jumpsuit!

A great way to update  your wardrobe for day or night.

A garment which suits all occasions  and with a change of footwear you can turn this piece from casual to smart in seconds!

Apparently the first jumpsuit was created by Florentine Thayat in 1919 .  It was launched as a ‘ subversive and liberating garment’ during the  so-called Futuristic period.

However jumpsuits did not become popular garments to wear until the 1960s and then again in  the 1980s. In each case there was this high influence from science fiction movies.

Think about the stage costumes worn by  Elvis Presley, Mick Jagger, Britney Spears and The  Spice Girls!

So which will you be wearing?

Jersey Jumpsuits:  Good  for casual gatherings, you can throw on a leather jacket and pair of converses – to make it ultra-trendy.

Going out in the evening and have no time to change? Swap the trainers for heels and add a big chunky necklace!

Leather jumpsuits:  A great  outfit for the evening which looks great with bold coloured accessories.  High pony tail and flicked eyeliner optional!

Draped Jumpsuits:  Classy and elegant.  Soft draping layers gives the outfit more dimension.

Low cut – Pocket Jumpsuits: Sharp colours, low neck and pockets for you to tuck away your hands and walk like a diva!  Great with flats and trainers and again transformed into a raving outfit – add neon bangles!

Strapless Jumpsuits: Fab for sunny days – hair up, shoulders exposed.  A must for the holiday!
