Exhibitors at the autumn 16 edition of Scoop London were optimistic on the first day of the trade show following “steady” footfall and the attendance of international buyers.

Lis Eriksson, founder of Sewn agency said: “It has been good today, I’ve had a few people on the stand from Ireland, China and Milan. There does seem to be a lot of international buyers here who are in town for London Fashion Week.”

“So far the first morning is going ok and we’ve seen a steady flow of people,” said Laura Geurney, senior product manager at womenswear brand Ruby & Ed. “Really it’s just good for us to be here to meet potential new accounts and speak to the press. It has a different feel to a show like Pure and is more laid-back.”
