Responsibilities :
As a Senior Merchandise Planner you will be responsible for leading a team to achieve department success for women’s fashion garments . Working with a buying team you will be accountable for setting the merchandise department strategies and financial KPI’s. Managing your team and each planning cycle. Identifying trends and opportunities across European countries and through collaboration with the Buyers developing strategies for different market needs. Carrying out in depth analysis. Managing assortment with flow plans. Providing support and motivation to your team to help achieve financial targets.
The Person
Educated to Degree level we are looking for several years experience within retail merchandise planning.
You will need to be confident using different retail planning and forecasting software to assess risks and opportunities. Be able to demonstrate well-developed strategic and negotiating skills along with agility for a fast paced environment and have a record of achieving financial results . Previous experience of leading developing and managing others is required . International or European experience within E commerce / retail will be ideal preferably with fashion apparel or accessories.
Fluent spoken and written English is essential as this is the day to day business language.
