Designer Fashion Accessories
This well-established supplier is seeking a Designer of ladies and men’s soft and hard fashion accessories. The person will work closely with high profile European retail brands and will need to have gained at least 3 years industry experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Reporting to a Senior Designer you will work with specific European retailers and will design a wide range of product from hats and scarves to sunglasses. This will include input on graphic and print design.
The creation of CAD and technical packs for internal and external use.
Creating trends boards and forecasts and keeping up to date with new fabrics and manufacturing processes.
Regular and clear communication of designs to the overseas office.
Working closely with the different buying teams which will require some travel across Europe.
Building strong ongoing business relationships.
The Person: Educated to Degree level you will need previous experience of working for a supplier to fashion retailers. You will need to be creative, versatile and commercial, and London based. Previous experience with accessories is preferred. The position is studio based four days per week and one day WFH.
