Catwalk – Menswear trends

So what menswear trends will we see filtering through from the catwalks for A/W 24/25 ?

Well it looks like we will be seeing plenty of oversized coats and jackets and loose fitting shirts. Shackets and gilets. Comfortable and great for disguising food overindulgence ….

Hats, hats, hats… in every style from stetson to deer stalker to cloche.
Chunky Wellington style boots.

Fabrics:
Wide corduroy and faux fur for day with lots of twinkling / shimmering fabrics for night .
With a sombre palette of black, grey, and brown.

The latest accessory?
Now you may have thought you had seen enough smoke within recent great movies such as Oppenheimer and Maestro.
It seems like everyone’s tired of vaping and there is a new trend for cigarettes…. unlit of course.
Purely for posing .
Believe it or not tobacco was used centuries ago to ward off disease and in the 1930’s and 1950’s some doctors actually promoted the health benefits of cigarettes within advertising.
