TAYLOR SWIFT TO OPEN THE GRAMMYS

No one gets a party started quite like Taylor Swift. Yesterday it was announced that the singer will be performing at this year’s Grammy Awards, and according to reports the artist will be the first to take to the stage.

Swift will perform ahead of a line-up that includes the Weeknd, Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, Carrie Underwood and Lady Gaga, who will perform a David Bowie tribute.

The indefatigable artist is nominated for an impressive seven awards for her latest album1989 at this year’s ceremony, including Album of the Year. She will reportedly perform one of her tracks from the album on the night, but not one of her nominated songs. This means no ‘Blank Space’ or ‘Bad Blood’, but the potential Grammy-award-winning album has plenty of hits to spare.
